Where to find Stanley Anderson’s work

Public Collections

Stanley Anderson’s prints are held in many public collections across galleries, libraries, and print rooms worldwide.
In most cases, the works are not on general display, so it is advisable to contact the institution in advance to arrange access.
From experience, galleries are usually very accommodating when contacted beforehand.

The principal collection in the United Kingdom is held at The Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.

The Ashmolean Museum holds the most extensive collection of Stanley Anderson’s work.
The foundation of the collection is the Arthur Mitchell bequest, catalogued by Ian Lowe and Stanley Anderson in the 1960s.
